DFKI (Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz) is the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, one of the world's largest and most renowned non-profit AI research institutions. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Kaiserslautern, it has additional sites in Saarbrücken, Bremen, Berlin, and several other cities. University College Dublin (UCD) is a leading European research university and the ethics lead in the XR-IRIS project. UCD brings internationally recognised expertise in human-computer interaction, extended reality (XR), digital ethics, and responsible innovation. Within XR-IRIS, Prof. Mangina leads the ethical, legal, and societal framework, ensuring that the project’s technologies are developed in accordance with European values, including privacy, transparency, inclusiveness, accessibility, and user well-being. UCD supports the integration of ethical and human-centred design principles across all project activities, helping to ensure that XR-IRIS delivers trustworthy, responsible, and widely accepted XR solutions.

ITI is an IT Technology Centre based in Valencia (Spain), with the ambition of bridging the gap between research and industry.
